National Day of Prayer Burlington Participants

Thank you to all of the Pastors and leaders from various denominations across Boone County for participating in prayer this morning at the Gazebo in Burlington.

“Lord Hear Our Cry” and comes from 1 Kings 8:28 – “Hear the cry and prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day”. Prayers are especially offered for areas of influence in our society: elected officials, judges, military and law enforcement, media, educators, and families.

The Annual National Day of Prayer is this Thursday May 7, 2015.

We will be joining Pastors and leaders from around our Nation lifting America up  in prayer.  2015 National Day of Prayer

The theme for this year’s National Day of Prayer observance is
“Lord Hear Our Cry” and comes from 1 Kings 8:28 – “Hear the cry and prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day”. Prayers are especially offered for areas of influence in our society: elected officials, judges, military and law enforcement, media, educators, and families.

In Boone County, we will begin the day Thursday with morning prayer in Burlington at the Gazebo on the Courthouse lawn at 8AM, offered by the Hebron and Burlington Ministerial Association and any local pastors who would like to assist.

I am humbled to represent our community in Frankfort, as I have been asked this year to lead a portion of the Annual National Day of Prayer observance at our State Capital in Frankfort at Noon on the steps of the Capitol.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to join us for both the morning event in Boone County and in Frankfort. More information will be posted throughout the day on Wednesday. God Bless!
